Senior Tax Manager(Remote Contract)
About Our Client
Our client, located in the Burlington area, is a public accounting firm looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join their team! This role can be fully remote and will be a contract that can also become permanent.
Reporting directly to the Partner, the Senior Tax Manager's tasks will follow :
Responsibilities
- Manage the tax planning engagements and projects for multiple different engagements
- Research tax issues and present conclusions to the shareholders or partners
- Work closely with Partners to provide innovative tax planning ideas to a variety of clients
- Lead and mentor junior staff
- Other ad-hoc duties are required
Qualifications
- 8+ years of tax experience including tax planning, tax compliance, corporate and personal returns in the public accounting(medium size firmed preferred ) space
- CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA designated
- Completed In-Depth or MTax or very close
- Experience overseeing a junior staff
- Extensive experience working on multiple different tax planning engagements
- Experience using either CaseWare, Caseview, or TaxPrep
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements
