Civil Design Engineer

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join our client, a well-established, employee-owned engineering firm with a strong presence in BC.

Based in the Squamish office, this role offers the chance to lead land development and municipal infrastructure projects that shape growing communities in the beautiful Sea to Sky region. Responsibilities:

• Lead civil engineering design for land development projects including site servicing, grading, drainage, stormwater management, roadways, and underground infrastructure
• Prepare and review design calculations, technical reports, letters, and documentation in compliance with current standards
• Act as Engineer of Record, signing and sealing drawings, reports, and technical documents
• Support Project Managers with fee proposals, quality control, and project delivery throughout the lifecycle
• Mentor and provide direction to design staff, ensuring adherence to design standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years progressive civil consulting engineering experience, preferably with land development and municipal engineering projects
• Experience as Engineer of Record, authorized to sign and seal engineering documents
• Registered P.Eng. with EGBC or equivalent licensing body
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Detail-oriented with the confidence to perform design work independently
