POSITION : Territory Manager, technical sales

LOCATION : GTA West (Brampton and surrounding areas)

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

A growing industrial solutions provider who is a proudly Canadian company is hiring a Technical Territory Manager / Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a defined territory in west GTA.

This is a consultative, field-based sales role focused on the sale of engineered systems, aftermarket service, and preventative maintenance programs.

If you enjoy face-to-face selling, technical problem-solving, and long-term customer relationships coupled with a strong drive to succeed, this role offers stability, autonomy, and growth with an industry leader!

The right candidate will have proven sales experience in at least one of the following industries : industrial equipment, HVAC, mechanical systems, energy solutions, and capital equipment; a valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and valid Passport are also required.

Responsibilities :

• Own and develop a defined sales territory
• Prospect and generating sales of industrial equipment, service solutions, and preventative maintenance agreements
• Build new customer relationships while expanding existing accounts
• Conduct regular onsite client visits and technical discussions
• Follow up on inbound leads and proactively generate new opportunities
• Prepare accurate, professional quotes and proposals
• Identify and close recurring service and maintenance contract opportunities
• Maintain pipeline and activity updates in the CRM system
• Collaborate with technical, service, and leadership teams
