Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Must have experience in doing Electrical and Mechanical Estimates, fully versed with code requirements.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure project alignment and cost accuracy.
  • Utilize Bluebeam and PlanSwift software for estimating and take-off tasks.
  • Review and analyze construction drawings and specifications for mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Support cost management and control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide input on project estimates for commercial buildings and office buildings.
  • Experience in commercial building and office building is a must; LRT project experience is a plus.

Qualifications :

  • Must have a degree / diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of Canadian experience in estimating mechanical and electrical systems is mandatory.
  • Previous experience with contractors is mandatory.
  • Fully versed with Bluebeam and PlanSwift software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advance knowledge in MS Excel is required.
  • CEC or PQS Designation is a plus.
