General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada currently has an opportunity available for a System Integration Engineer Co-op to work in our Land & Joint Solutions business area. Land & Joint Solutions provides assured information distribution and management in mission-critical operational environments where conditions are harsh, austere and hostile to ensure the right information, gets to the right place, at the right time, to enable the right actions.

The responsibilities and range of activities may vary, but in general will include :
Develop and execute test cases and procedures, and test methods for system verification testsOpportunity to develop automated test programs, and design and participate in validation tests in the labSet up and configure network devices, computers and radios for use in the test environmentYou will work side-by-side with the customer in an Integrated Product Team environment and interact with software engineering, systems engineering, and management teamsThis position will include working with Networking and routing, VLANs, Microsoft applications, radios, voice and data networks, and various automation, troubleshooting, and simulation tools (Robot Framework, Wireshark, VCCI, CORE, VBS).Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as computer science, electrical or software engineering.Additional
Experience with any of the following tools are highly desirable :Troubleshooting and simulation tools (Robot Framework, Wireshark, CORE, VBS)
Microsoft VisioMicrosoft Office SuitePythonPowershellSome scripting experience would be an asset.Some data analysis and metrics reporting would be an asset.Strong communication and time management skills.Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.Enthusiastic contributor, willingness to learn new skills and takes on ownership of work.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, with minimum supervision.Additional Information

Security Clearance
