Job descriptionExperience in basic QA documentation, shipping, receiving, or warehouse distribution required Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to operate forklifts Strong attention to detail and basic math skills - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures through at least one year of previous experience Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages Must have a vehicle to drive themselves to and from work
Job Overview
We seek a detail-oriented QA / Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
Duties
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials - check received items by verifying product information, quantity, and quality
- Prepare items for shipment by verifying product information, quantity, and quality
- Operate a forklift, an overhead crane, or other machinery to move materials within the warehouse
- Pick orders and pack them securely for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist in some shop preparation of project materials - should be a mechanically and / or electrically inclined worker with experience with basic hand and power tools
