Notre équipe est à la recherche d’un(e) adjoint(e) juridique en litige motivé(e), qui jouera un rôle clé dans le soutien d’une équipe d’avocats en litige.

Vos prochains défis

Gestion de documents et de dossiers

Rédaction et révision de correspondance, notes de service, lettres, et documents juridiques

Ouverture et mise à jour de dossiers, notamment dans le logiciel I Manage.

Mise à jour et exactitude des données clients

Recherches dans le registre des entreprises et vérification de conflits d’intérêt

Gestion d'agendas des avocats assignés, y compris les échéances et activités avec des clients.

Assistance aux avocats concernant l’instruction de litiges (préparation des cahiers de procédures, de pièces, d’autorités, etc.)

Entrées de temps et gestion de comptes de dépenses

Autres tâches qui peuvent être raisonnablement assignées de temps à autre.

Qui recherchons nous?

Diplôme en techniques juridiques ou secrétariat juridique ou équivalent

Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience en tant qu'adjointe en litige

Excellentes compétences orales et écrites en français et en anglais

Excellentes compétences en matière de gestion du temps et d’organisation

Souci du détail et compétences supérieures en traitement de texte, en correction et révision.

Capacité à faire le suivi des dossiers et des échéances avec un minimum de supervision.

Haut niveau de discrétion et de confidentialité.

Our team is looking for a motivated Litigation Legal Assistant who will play a key role in supporting a dynamic team of litigious lawyers.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required to meet the needs of our clients located in Quebec and in various provinces across Canada.

Your Next Challenges

Document and file management

Drafting and revising correspondence, memos, letters, and legal documents

Opening and updating files, including in I Manage software.

Ensuring the accuracy of client data

Researching in the companies register and checking for conflicts of interest

Managing schedules of assigned lawyers, including deadlines and activities with clients.

Assisting lawyers with litigation instructions (preparing pleadings, exhibits, authorities, etc.);

Time entries and expense account management

Carrying out tasks that may be reasonably assigned from time to time.

Who are we looking for?

Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum three (3) years of experience as a litigation legal assistant.

Excellent oral and writing skills in French and English

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and superior word processing, proofreading and editing skills.

Capacity to perform duties with speed and accuracy.

Ability to follow-up on files and delays with minimal supervision.

High level of discretion and confidentiality.
