We are seeking a caring, reliable, fun, and experienced part-time nanny to join our family in Vancouver (Kerrisdale). You’d be caring for our kind, empathetic, and playful 4-year-old son. He’s curious, loving, and enjoys active play, learning, and new experiences. He is very bright and is working on catching up on some of his motor and speech milestones after some early life medical complications.
We are needing help on Mondays and Thursdays from 10AM to 4PM. While our son is at preschool (10-12) we need support with light housekeeping, tidying, laundry, groceries, and basic meal preparation.
We are looking for someone with early Childhood Education (ECE) training or related education, previous experience working with toddlers, including children requiring physical support, comfort following simple play based therapy or movement routines, and a calm, patient, and engaging approach. We would occasionally appreciate support with dropping off and picking up our son from preschool (15 minutes away) and would offer our vehicle for those trips.
My wife and I are both healthcare professionals in our late 30s, and are looking for someone who would fit in with our family well. If you are warm, dependable, and enjoy supporting children’s development through play and routine, we would love to hear from you.
