The David Braley Sport Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre, located within the Athletics and Recreation Center at McMaster University, is a long-standing, multidisciplinary clinic renowned for its exceptional comprehensive patient care. We serve a diverse population of community members, university students, and athletes of all ages and activity levels.

We are currently seeking a skilled and energetic Sports Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside experienced clinicians, including world-renowned sports medicine physician Dr. David Levy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, diagnoses, and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal injuries.
• Collaborate with allied health care specialists to develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based innovative medical care practices.
• Oversee and administer musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided interventional therapies injections (including hyaluronic acid preparations).
• Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD).
• SEM fellowship trained and Diploma preferred.
• GP focused practice designation preferred.
• License to practice in Ontario and full malpractice insurance.
• In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Experience in interventional procedures is considered an asset.
