As a Nurse Practitioner with TELUS Health Virtual Care you will :
Provide exceptional safe, high quality, evidence-informed primary care - through assessment, ordering diagnostic testing, prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies, and initiating specialist referralsFollow up with patients when clinically appropriate to support continuity of careCollaborate with other nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and in-house family physicians and psychiatrists to support patient carePractice to full scope in a virtual environment by assessing, diagnosing, and treating episodic and chronic conditions while supporting patients through our platform, which includes secure messaging and video conferencingDeliver episodic and longitudinal careProvide regular patient follow up to promote health and educate on disease prevention and managementTHVC Independent Contractor Benefits

Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) as a Nurse Practitioner (family / all ages / primary care) without restrictions and reside in AlbertaPractitioner ID (PracID) issued by Alberta Health Services for lab and diagnostic testing2-3 years of primary care experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the medical team and patientsProficiency in technology-supported careCommitment to provide comprehensive patient-centered care that focuses on exceptional patient experience and the best possible outcomesAdditional details
Scheduling : Flexible, evening : 2-4 pm, 4-6 pm, 6-8 pm. 8-10pm, 10pm-12am Mountain Time shifts available, weekend : 6-8 am, 8-11am, 11-2pm, 2-4 pm, 4-6 pm, 6-8 pm. 8-10pm, 10pm-12am Mountain Time shifts available and overnight (on call) shifts neededIndependent service provider contractRecommended 10 hours per weekNurse Practitioner must be located in Canada to access THVC clinical platformsRemuneration based on experience as a licensed NP
