The Junior Accountant supports the Senior Accountants and Divisional Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank accounts, and overseeing rent collection. They also assist with monthly and year-end closings, audits, and special projects.

About The Role

• This is a temporary full-time position of 12 months

As a Junior Accountant, you play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall financial health of Baptist Housing. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with monthly and year-end financial reporting. Additionally, you will foster positive relationships with team members and external partners while upholding the values of servant leadership.

You are an organized and detail-oriented professional with a strong aptitude for numbers, analysis, and technology. With advanced Excel skills and a keen eye for accuracy, you thrive in managing financial transactions and reconciling accounts. Deadlines don’t intimidate you—you excel under pressure while maintaining precision in your work. Beyond your technical skills, you are a strong communicator, able to convey financial information clearly in both written and verbal formats. You work well with others, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Adaptable and flexible, you embrace change and seek innovative solutions to challenges. Most importantly, you align with Baptist Housing’s values, demonstrating compassion, integrity, and a commitment to servant leadership. An annual salary range of $53,000 to $57,000. You will be welcomed into a warm and supportive work environment.
