Job Description
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces within client homes or commercial buildings.
- Able to work in various inside and outside environments being subjected to weather, noise, sawdust, and other external factors.
- Visually inspect and report / repair small defects and / or minor measuring mistakes.
- Able to use a variety of measuring devices and tools provided by the company.
- Ability to read CAD drawings blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
- Assist in the safe removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
- Maintain all safety protocol, including but not limited to all shop tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles.
- Escalate client situations that fall outside of our Standard Operating procedures to management for timely resolution.
- Flexible, willing, and positive attitude.
- Exercise professionalism and uphold our White Glove Service within client homes at all times.
- Perform light cleaning duties.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certificate, diploma and / or equivalent work experience.
- Cabinetry or carpentry skills required.
- Two (2) years previous customer service experience.
- Must maintain valid class 5 drivers’ license and clean driving record.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, reach, stop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.
- Experience with common hand and power tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and to follow direction.
- Exceptional attention to detail, multi-taking, and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy specifically Microsoft Office and possess the ability to learn internal computer programs.
- Ability to work designated hours, extra hours during peak periods, with occasional overnight travel.
