Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with our client in the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of a Temporary Human Resources Assistant . This is a 3 month term that requires on-site presence in their Downtown Toronto office.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Assist HR Services team in organizing, tracking, and printing employee photo IDs.
- Coordinate the delivery of HR documents via interoffice courier services.
- Validate returned employee access provisions and checklists, maintaining accurate records.
- Support overall HR operations as assigned such as using Excel for metrics and tracking, preparing HR documents, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills :
1-2 years of prior HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or an equivalent level of experience.Familiarity with HR practices or organizational systemsProficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.Strong communication and organizational skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage timelines effectively.Capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and systems.Education :
Minimum requirement of a High School diploma or equivalent.Nice-to-Haves :
Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field is advantageous
