Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of the Kelowna office, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day administration and support functions of a busy team. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering inbound shipments and vendor claims, entering credit notes and daily invoicing of customer orders.

ABOUT YOU

You have a passion for administration and aim for perfection in details and coordination. As a result, you love to be the coordinator of many moving parts while being a stickler for details. You understand how operations, sales, and administration function together in driving the operational efficiencies of a company.

You have talents in administration and understand the importance of handling confidential information with discretion. You enjoy analyzing and assessing situations for the best outcome.

You are comfortable providing support to various teams and troubleshooting issues that arise. This combined with your problem-solving nature, is a winning combination for this position.

You have at least two years of administration experience combined with your advanced knowledge of Excel with superior accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. You have a flair for organizing and multi-tasking to meet deadlines.

Requirements

LINGUISTIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to clearly communicate, written and verbal, with internal and external parties professionally and courteously.

EDUCATION

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related discipline is an asset.
  • High-school education is a minimum requirement.

Employment Status: Permanent Part Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 to 6 hours a day - until 3pm

Work Location: 205 Campion St, Kelowna, BC V1X 7S9 This is an office-based opportunity.
