Our Public Sector Client requires a Senior Information Management Specialist (10+ Years) to create an IM plan architecture for a new branch within the department.
Full time, % remote
Responsibilities to Include :
- Develop an information management plan for the new branch.
- Design classification structures for organizing information.
- Create and manage metadata models for data labeling and indexing.
- Establish retention and disposition schedules for information lifecycle management.
- Conduct needs assessments and gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with government policies, regulations, and standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs on information management practices.
- Collaborate with the IM Architect to align the IM plan with the overall architecture.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IM practices.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance on information management matters.
- Document IM processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Coordinate with IT and other departments to support IM practices with technology solutions.
Must Haves :
- 10+ years of experience as an Information Management Specialist .
- Experience with Classification Structures
- Experience with Metadata Models
- Experience with Retention / Disposition Schedules
- Experience using SharePoint Online
Nice to Haves :
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French).
- Experience with the Federal Government
- Relevant IM Certification
