Job Description
How You’ll Make an Impact :
- Assists in audio-visual productions by working with producers and directors on the design, installation, and positioning of sets, seating and props, as directed.
- Delivers, sets up, tests, and operates audio-visual equipment for organization meetings.
- Maintains equipment and troubleshoots equipment problems during events.
- Coordinates equipment operation by lifting and moving of equipment from one area of the facility to another.
- Installs and operates equipment such as Audio bridges, microphones, Cameras, Display systems, comfort monitors, overhead projectors and computers.
- May advise speakers and presenters on media alternatives.
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
- Performs light maintenance service under the supervision of a qualified skilled tradesperson.
Performs tasks such as but not limited to moving colleague’s, installing monitors, keyboards and securing wiring under work stations.
Supports client Audio visual projects.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed :
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.May require completion of a college or other program in recording engineering, audiovisual technology or a related field.3 to 5 years of related work experience.May be working towards an audiovisual certification.Bilingualism (English and French) mandatoryAdditional Information
