What you’ll do
- Support the continued implementation and sustainment of CRC’s Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) and Process Safety Programs by developing a strong understanding of work processes and contributing to continuous improvement of the management system.
- Provide support for the EHS software platform by building strong working knowledge to assist users, troubleshooting issues and recommending enhancements to improve usability and efficiency. Responsibilities also include data mining, metric development, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with HSSE, Technical Services, Projects, Operations, and Maintenance to collect, validate, analyze, and report incident data and process safety metrics to help drive informed decision-making and risk reduction.
- Participate in and support key Process Safety and OEMS elements, including Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR), Incident Management, updating Process Safety Information (PSI), assisting with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) facilitation, supporting procedural compliance, and participating in audits and self‑verification activities.

The Team : You will work closely with other Process Safety Engineers and Advisors and will report into a Lead Process Safety Engineer.

Have 2+ years of experience of experience in industrial operations, process, maintenance, or engineering design, preferably in upgrading, refining, or petrochemical operations.Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (ideally in Chemical or Industrial Systems), and are a registered EIT or P.Eng. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).Are familiar with Process Safety elements and management systems.What we offer :
