The Opportunity: eCapital is currently seeking a full-time Cash Processing Specialist to join our team in our Orillia, Ontario office.

As a Cash Processing Specialist on the Freight Factoring portfolio, you will have the opportunity to provide the necessary support in a team-oriented and friendly environment.

You will be responsible for data entry and other accounting duties. Responsibilities: Posting cash payments & bank adjustments to customer's accounts in the Freight Factoring portfolio Researching customer payments, resolving discrepancies with remittances & completing necessary account adjustments Balances and reconciling customer accounts in a timely manner Communicating account details and updates with customers over the phone and email Strong knowledge of AML policies Collaborating with other internal departments, such as Customer Service, Finance, or Collections to resolve payment issues Understanding and prioritization of assigned workload for completion within a specified time frame Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Cash Processing Skills and Experience Proficient with Excel Strong data-entry skills Excellent mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills Accurate, accountable, and detail oriented with the ability to work independently & meet deadlines Recent experience in cash applications or collections is an asset Qualifications: Post secondary education in business, accounting, or another related field is an asset We Bring: $18.50 hourly Annual Bonus Incentives Vacation & Sick Time Health, Dental, and Life Benefits RRSP Matching Abundant professional development opportunities at a growing and thriving Fintech company! eCapital Culture: At eCapital, we're not just a funding provider—we're a strategic partner built for what's next.
