Mine Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to manage and oversee all aspects of our ongoing mining projects. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This site-based role involves working closely with project managers, mine supervisors, and mine planners to ensure all components are aligned and executed according to schedule, scope, and budget.

Your keen attention to detail, effective communication, and organizational skills will be critical in ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently from start to finish. Your coordination expertise will help drive the success of mining projects, ensuring safety and integrity throughout the process.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations of mine planning and construction projects.
• Utilize mine planning software for drill & blast design and overall mining strategy.
• Convert long-term and short-term mine plans into weekly execution plans.
• Work with project management to monitor schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Review construction drawings, technical documents, and specifications for compliance.
• Prepare and track reports, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Perform site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of mine activities, including materials and equipment.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Facilitate meetings, ensure proper documentation, and track project milestones.
