Design, test, and evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by conducting research and applying mechanical principles.Develop cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability.Create 3D CAD models and detailed shop drawings using SolidWorks.Assist in developing prototypes and evaluating results to recommend design modifications.Participate in mine site visits and collaborate with field operators to gather insights for product improvements.Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure operational equipment reliability.Stay current with industry developments by attending workshops, seeking out training, and expanding your technical knowledge.Qualifications for Success :
Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent at an accredited institution.Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and Lean Manufacturing techniques.Experience or familiarity with 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.Practical, hands-on background with exposure to machining, fabrication, and assembly.Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.Able to work independently or within a team to meet deadlines and project goals.Strong communication skills, with the ability to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Our Inclusive Culture
