The Opportunity

• Develop high-quality undergraduate human resource management course content that aligns with UFred academic standards and reflects current Canadian human resource practices.
• Create clear accurate and engaging learning materials such as learning objectives weekly modules readings and case studies.
• Design assessments and learning activities that demonstrate the application of human resource management concepts professional judgment and analytical skills.
• Collaborate with the Academic and Program Development teams to ensure consistency of course outcomes structure and design.
• Participate in course reviews by providing expert feedback to ensure accuracy relevance and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
• Incorporate CPHR competencies ethical considerations and real-world scenarios into the curriculum where appropriate.
• Ensure all content meets accessibility standards and supports diverse learners in an online environment.

• A PhD in Human Resource Management or a CPHR designation in Canada.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing course content and applied learning activities in HR analytics and digital HR applications including data interpretation and workforce insights.
• Experience in curriculum development or online course design at the post-secondary level
• Strong understanding of online learning principles and effective digital content development
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology tools

• Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail

Since its establishment in 2005 the University of Fredericton (UFred) has aimed to provide innovative and adaptable online education. From its inception UFred has remained devoted to delivering accessible high-quality education to professionals across Canada and beyond. As UFred prepares for its next phase of development the University has made strides toward global May 2023 UFred was acquired by IU Group (IUG) a prominent educational institution based in Germany. Both establishments share a commitment to making education broadly accessible emphasizing flexibility innovation and quality within their programs. This shared vision facilitated the acquisition and positioning of UFred for further expansion. With IUGs support UFred aims to utilize additional resources and expertise to enhance its offerings and reach a wider audience of learners both within Canada and internationally.

Term of Appointment:

This is a contract-based appointment aligned with UFreds course development and delivery cycle. Course development will occur over 5 weeks with instructional delivery opportunities following the course launch based on program needs and candidate availability. The scope of the assigned course development will determine contract length and workload.
