We are looking for positive and team-oriented individuals to join our Dorval distribution center to support our Outbound and Stockless team. The Team Lead spends half their time on the floor, executing daily operations and acting as a role model to others in terms of consistently reaching high productivity and quality standards. Other important priorities involve working with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the daily coordination and efficient flow of operations on the floor along with training existing and new employees. Your Contributions to the Organization will be :
- Executing daily operations (pick, pack, ship, receive, etc.) and acting as role model to others in terms of consistently meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards
- Ensuring the daily coordination and efficient flow of operations on the floor, moving resources as required
- Assisting the Supervisor to ensure that the team is working in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Training new and existing employees on all work practices and procedures
- Assigning and directing the work on the floor, responding to complaints and resolving problems
- Coaching employees on how to improve quality and productivity metrics
- Working closely with interdepartmental management staff
- Maintaining an open communication with employees, relaying key messages and participating in team meetings
- Assisting in tracking each employee's performance to ensure that all employees are working according to production, quality and attendance standards

- You possess a post-secondary education completed (DEC)
- You are fluent in English and French (written and oral)
- You have 3 years of experience in the operations or distribution field
- You have proven leadership skills
- You enjoy working with computers (JDE, AIMS)
- You have good interpersonal and communication skills
- You enjoy problem-solving and multi-tasking, adapting to change and reprioritizing on short notice
- You have knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies / Continuous Improvement (preferred)
