We’re currently looking for Financial Business Partner – Operations to join our team. Your mission will be to analyze and control costs related to direct and indirect expenses, support investment management, and ensure continuous monitoring of operational cost control. You will be a key player in supporting the company’s growth and assisting in strategic operational decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the reliability and accuracy of accounting for inventories, fixed assets, and operating costs for our Saint-Jérôme and Mirabel plants.
• Analyze and present monthly results related to inventories and operations.
• Act as a business partner with departments to support cost analysis, identify improvement opportunities, and prioritize corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations to develop the strategic investment plan and monitor ROI.
• Maintain an effective control structure to reduce business risks related to operations.
• Produce monthly financial forecasts for the plants and contribute to budget preparation.
• Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) related to operating costs and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
• Actively participate in the inventory management committee.
• Contribute to audit files and ensure compliance in collaboration with the Las Vegas Plant Controller.
• Support operational decision-making as a member of the management team.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Recognized accounting designation (CPA, CMA).
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
• ERP experience (SAP is a strong asset).
• Bilingualism (functional French and English, spoken and written) to interact with our U.S. plant.
