Robert Half Financial Services is looking for a Mortgage Administrator for a hybrid contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process commercial mortgage documentation
• Review documents
• Review mortgage documentation received
• Audit auto-approved mortgage applications for compliance
• Assist the mortgage underwriting team
• Work with internal teams to ensure residential mortgage policies and procedures are adhered to
• Respond to telephone and email inquiries
• Other ad hoc duties may be assigned

Job Requirements:

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Bilingual French / English as asset
• Previous work experience in commercial mortgages is required
• Strong understanding of the mortgage business and documentation required as well as credit and lending
• Able to read financial statements as part of the appraisal process
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment in the office a few days every week
