Job Description

Fairmont Banff Springs is looking for an energetic individual to assist in the delivery of our Resort Activities program through both the Youth Activities & the Outdoor Recreation Centre. Resort Activities Animators should have a wide variety of talents but above all should have excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

Starting Rate : $21.27

Availability Requirement : Hours are based on business levels, required to give 1-2 days of 8 hours commitment per week.

Job Duties Include :

• Facilitate and present small and large scale activities independently or with other Resort Activities Animators, as needed in a youth, family and / or adult environment
• Assist in the set-up for all facilitated activities and execute clean-up duties upon completion of program, including cleaning and sanitizing of spaces and objects, before, during, and after the facilities open / activity ends.
• Interact with and supervise all children participating in youth activities programs, ages 3-12 years, by providing a safe environment so children of all ages will enjoy themselves
• Contribute new activity ideas and assist in the future development of Resort Activities, as well as other programs
• Assist with the daily operation of the Resort Activities Centre which includes booking rentals and selling products and amenities.
• Carry out all other tasks as assigned by the Resort Activities Manager or Executive Team
• Other duties as assigned
