Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Overview
Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time / casual basis . This role is ideal for nurses who value flexibility while making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families. As part of our in-home care team, you will provide professional nursing support, promote wellness, and ensure the highest standard of care in a warm, respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, client-centered nursing care in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting changes promptly.
- Support seniors with daily living activities while fostering dignity and independence.
- Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Qualifications
Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives).Valid CPR / First Aid certification.Experience in senior care, community health, or home care preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to varying client needs.Compassion, patience, and respect for seniors and their families.Schedule & Compensation
