Position
Seasonal Ambassador – 0–39 hours/week, Contract Role.
Responsibilities
- Driving Sales: Utilize the StoreForce dashboard and seek feedback to exceed sales goals. Take ownership of results and actively grow contribution to store sales.
- Customer Experience: Consistently deliver world‑class experience to every customer. Connect and listen, ask open‑ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and create a “Lusher” day.
- Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging) and host events to attract traffic.
- Product Passion: Continually expand product knowledge; stay up to date on ingredients and benefits to make informed recommendations.
- Team Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge. Seek feedback and growth opportunities.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, promote teamwork, recognize unique contributions.
- Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present. Take breaks when necessary and stay informed on company news.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store.
- Stock and Inventory: Adjust product displays based on sales to improve experience.
- Policies and Procedures: Follow company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, health and safety.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
- Experience with consultation‑based customer service.
- Strong problem‑solving to address day‑to‑day operations.
- Experience working in a team.
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics.
- Cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
Pay
CAD $16.50 per hour (Fairview Pointe‑Claire).
