Our client in Cambridge is looking for a Maintenance Millwright for the Afternoon shift & Night Shift.
Afternoon Shift : $44.66 + $1.00 shift premium
Night Shift : $44.66 + $4.00 shift premium
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair, and maintain all production-related equipment.
- Provide troubleshooting and support during all downtime events.
- Comply with all necessary manufacturing practices, regulations, and standards, i.e., GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, MSDS, etc.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities as needed to improve asset health.
- Maintain detailed records of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Collaborate with the maintenance planner to improve preventative maintenance activities.
- Complete maintenance reports and logs as required.
- Ensure all production equipment is serviced as required.
- Monitor and adjust equipment to lower utility costs.
- Enforce established safety, health, contamination, and housekeeping policies and procedures to prevent injuries, lost production time, damage, and product contamination.
- Ensure work areas are always clean and hazard-free.
- Work safely and efficiently following legislated and company health and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Millwright license with proof of apprenticeship.Able to perform routine machine shop practices (lathe & milling machine operations).Experience welding stainless steel using TIG and ARC.2-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.Service, clean, and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production equipment (spiral ovens, freezers, formers, cartoners, tray pack machines, bread, and batter equipment).Continually improve equipment function via design improvements.Problem-solving skills and good communication skills.Knowledge of appropriate health & safety and environmental regulations.Must have Ontario Millwright License.#J-18808-Ljbffr
