The Development Assistant works under the supervision of the Director of Development and provides administrative support in the admissions process and development initiatives.
Development Assistant Job Description
Skills :
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
- Proficiency in Google platform (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Canva, and donor database software (e.g., Keela)
Education :
Preference for candidates with a college or university degree / diploma with an emphasis on communications, administration, and / or public relations.
Experience :
- Previous experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience initiating, cultivating and managing relationships
Each candidate must be :
- a committed Christian
- dedicated to Christian education
