Merchandiser Representative - Pharmacy and Hardware stores

RDTS is currently looking for a Merchandising Representative located in Fredericton, NB, to join our merchandising team. As such, your role is to merchandise and represent the products of different suppliers to various big-box stores in your territory.

Schedule :  Part-Time approx. 5-10 hours a week, flexible hours to fit in your schedule from Monday to Friday.

Territory : Fredericton, Saint John and Sussex . A mileage compensation policy is applicable.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Merchandise the products, do the facing, clean the sections, product rotation, etc.
• Identify marketing opportunities through techniques such as cross-merchandising, mass merchandising, etc.
• Installation and maintenance of displays.
• Read and execute planograms (when necessary, during resets).
• Perform daily reports, which include taking pictures of the work done, through our mobile reporting app.
• Maintain excellent relationships with store managers.
• Execute any special mandate required by our clients (audits, displays, etc.).

Requirements

Requirements Have an intermediate-advanced level of written and spoken English Have intermediate knowledge of the Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams); Be comfortable with operational platforms; Have a minimum of one year experience in team management and in the field of merchandising; Knowledge of the retail environment; Be able to lift 30 pounds or less without mechanical assistance; Possess a vehicle and a valid class 5 driver's license to be able to travel for work; Be comfortable traveling regularly for several days in a row across Quebec, and occasionally in Ontario or other provinces (hotels, per diem for meals and travel).
