What will you be doing?

The Mulesoft Developer is a member of the IT Business Applications team (herein referred to as the Developer). The Developer will report directly to the Manager, Business Applications (herein referred to as the Manager) and will work with other stakeholders as directed in achieving the application solutions to meet the departmental, corporate and client needs.

The Developer will be highly responsible, organized & multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform

including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management

  • Able to interpret requirements to develop Mule services / integrations in CI / CD and Agile process working together with DevOps personnel
  • Assist in technology decisions related to Mulesoft / integration environment
  • Contribute to Applications Development and QA teams to establish best practices implementation of methodologies and toolsets
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of technical and process documentation
  • Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary for the role

    • What skills, experience and education are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform (4.x) as a Developer
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects
  • Ability to apply technology solutions to real business requirements

    • Technology

  • Application Development using Mule ESB and SOA / EAI technologies and API management, MuleSoft - ESB Enterprise Edition, CloudHub
  • Experience working with development of APIs leveraging RAML (with JSON and / or XML), MUnit Testing, Scaffolding, DataWeave, Error Handling, RESTAnypoint StudioPUB / SUB model of messaging and queues, knowledge of Active MQDatabase access using JDBC, SQL
  • Good understanding of underlying Mule ESB architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid);
  • Experience in : Source control management using GIT (Github)DevOps practices leveraging CI / CD using Maven, Jenkins, and MulesoftDesign Patterns, REST Web Services
  • Application development including : An understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologyDesigning appropriate load and performance test plans, goals, objectives, execution, with

    • tuning acumen.
