Job description

Position - Buyer

Location - Edmonton, Alberta

Schedule / overtime : Mon to Friday 7 : 30 AM to 4 PM

We are seeking a Procurement Buyer to support our client, one of Canada's biggest energy management and automation firms, in their Edmonton office. In this role, you will work full-time hours on a 12-month assignment.

  • Desired skills : Someone with prior relative experience in the supply chain within a manufacturing company

  • Responsibilities

  • Responsible to define and update the supply and stock management parameters.
  • Is responsible for needs / resources balance (MRP,..) for raw material, components, sub-assemblies and finished products by managing the customer’s needs and the replenishment backlog.
  • Ensure products availabilities by taking actions to solve backorders and shortages.
  • Analyze stock discrepancies and perform adjustments to match to inventory level targeted.
  • Qualifications

    Minium 3 to 5 years of experience, supply chain, procurement in manufacturing
