Seibi Paint Technician

Location : Cambridge, Ontario, Canada N3H5K2

Type of hire : Contract

Overtime :    Occasional weekends depending on project needs.

Travel : 25% for hands-on work North American NAMCs (including US and Mexico)

Position Summary :

The primary responsibility of this role is to participate in and perform DE (Digital Engineering) studies, commissioning, teaching, quality adjustment of all paint robotic processes (Sealer, UBC, LASD, Primer, Topcoat and Plastics).

  • Ability to travel up to 50%. (North America and between Cambridge and Woodstock)
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position.

Position Requirements :

  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience 2-3 years
  • Experience or at least familiarity with Digital Robot Engineering, CATIA, AutoCAD.
  • Need someone who is self-motivated, work enthusiast, good in time management, etc.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word
  • Position Preferences :

  • Robotic experience with Kawasaki Robots (programming and problem troubleshooting)
  • Paint experience or knowledge of paint process is a huge plus
  • Experience with Digital Engineering, Catia, AutoCAD

    REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM :

    If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days , depending on customer payment terms.
