The
Urban Solutions team is developing the future of micro-mobility and we are looking for a solid, experienced Infrastructure Consultant for our Cloud Platform Infrastructure team to work on helping us transition our customers to our latest generation platform and to make the platform evolve in a solution that can be brought to multiple different markets and business models.Requirements :
Use the core Site Reliability Engineering principles of change management, monitoring, emergency response, capacity planning, and production readiness reviews to run the platform.Build infrastructure and drive projects that break things with the aim to improve the robustness of production systems.Build holistic visibility into SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, dependency graphs, past performance of software, network, and system to ensure that we can continue to scale without increasing operational burden or toil.Step back to observe patterns and develop innovative tools and automation to minimize toil.Use those learnings to drive the best operational practices.Share on-call responsibilities with other teammates and own the improvement of the team s on-call practices Unblock, support, and effectively communicate across teams to achieve results.Assist in cost engineering efforts to ensure efficient use of cloud resources.Responsibilites :
AWS & Terraform Expertise : Expert-level proficiency in AWS architecture and services, coupled with mastery of Terraform for complex IaC module development and state management.Programming for Reliability : Solid development experience in Go (Golang) for building production-ready platform tooling and services.Automation & Scripting : Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and API integration (e.g., Boto3).Application Support : Familiarity with the Java ecosystem for effective support and deep-dive troubleshooting of application-level issues (e.g., JVM profiling).Code Management : Source control best practices using Git.Cloud Security & Compliance : Deep commitment to security fundamentals (least-privilege, blast radius minimization) and experience operating in highly regulated environments (e.g., PCI compliance).Networking & Connectivity : Deep understanding of VPC fundamentals, inter-VPC connectivity (Peering, Transit Gateway), DNS management (Route53), and Load Balancing (ALB). Experience with VPNs and Direct Connect is valuable.Containerization & Policy : Hands-on experience with Kubernetes manifests and operational knowledge of its components, including policy enforcement using Admission Controllers (e.g., OPA Gatekeeper).Observability & SLOs : Expertise in designing and implementing advanced observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces) and practical experience defining, monitoring, and managing SLIs / SLOs to govern service reliability.
