Description

Toromont Material Handling is looking for a Shop Technician to join our team! The Shop Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and proper diagnosing of equipment.

In a typical day, YOU will :

Checks forklifts for proper performance and inspects equipment to detect faults and malfunctions on Caterpillar, Jungheinrich, Mitsubishi, Kalmar, Manitou, Toyota, Raymond et Hyster models

Diagnoses faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required

Adjusts equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems

Tests repaired equipment for proper performance and ensures that work meets manufacturers' specifications

Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment

Must-haves for this role :

Post-secondary education

Diploma in vocational studies in automobile mechanic or diploma in automated systems
