The Role : As an LPN in LTC, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services to patients.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments, collect data, and provide basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Assist with patient education and support, including managing patient and family expectations and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and coordination efforts.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.Current, unrestricted LPN license in your province.Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Canada.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Please note that we are exclusively recruiting people who can legally work in Canada.
