Job description

The Role : As an LPN in LTC, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services to patients.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and provide basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
  • Assist with patient education and support, including managing patient and family expectations and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and coordination efforts.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in your province.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Canada.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
