Main Duties and Responsibilities

As an IT Support Technician , your main responsibilities and duties will include:

• To provide 1st and 2nd line support for onsite and remote users.
• Troubleshooting applications, system, and network problems.
• Configuration and installation of new PCs, Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones, and other IT hardware.
• Implement maintenance programme for shop floor PC’s and laptops.
• Creation and maintenance of user accounts.
• Provide technical assistance with business projects as required.
• Assist with IT documentation review and revision.
• Create troubleshooting guides to be published on the intranet.
• Support with the implementation of new system policies and antivirus/EDR tools.

A degree of flexibility is needed, and the job holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, should not normally exceed those expected of any employee at that level.
