A global food distribution company in the Mississauga, ON area is looking for a Japanese / English Account Manager . The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in sales support roles in the food / beverage industry.

This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Japanese / English Account Manager Responsibilities Include :

  • Maintain relationship with existing clients and increase sales activities by acquiring new clients
  • Coordinate and order international sales activities
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
  • Maintain accurate records such as sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices and other documents
  • Communicate and report with / to upper management regarding sales activities
  • Occasional domestic and international business travel as required
  • Creation of sales reports and miscellaneous documentation for upper management
  • Other duties as assigned

Japanese / English Account Manager Requirements Include :

  • Must be able to speak, read and write business level of Japanese
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skill in English and Japanese (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Must be able to travel nationwide and internationally if needed
  • Preferably has 1-2 years' work experience in Sales Support / Coordination, Office Administration, or Customer Support, preferably in the food / beverage industry
  • Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Excel (using pivot tables, formulas, V look-up, etc.) and QuickBooks is preferred
  • While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.

You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision
