🎮 About MetaLingo
MetaLingo is Voilà Learning’s program-centric virtual learning product for K-12 students, designed to support both academic development and social-emotional learning. Through small-group, live instruction, students learn in environments that prioritize confidence-building, communication, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
MetaLingo programs are intentionally structured to help students develop positive learning habits such as self-expression, perseverance, and engagement, while also strengthening subject-area skills. Tutors are trained to create inclusive, supportive classrooms where students feel comfortable participating, asking questions, and learning alongside peers.
The MetaLingo platform supports this instructional model by providing tools that help educators deliver consistent program experiences and give families visibility into student participation and progress. Together, the program design and platform reinforce a holistic approach to learning that recognizes academic success and social-emotional growth as deeply connected.

📌 Position Snapshot
As the Bilingual Community Engagement Officer, you are the "Front Voice" of MetaLingo. This is a high-impact, bilingual role where you will own the entire customer-facing experience. You will be the first person a partner interacts with, the guide who leads them through a product demo, and the creative voice managing our social presence. If it is customer-facing - digital or in-person - you are the lead.
🎯 What You’ll Do
- First Point of Contact: Own the support inbox and all incoming inquiries in both English and French, ensuring every parent, teacher, or partner receives a warm and timely response.
- Product Evangelism: Lead high-energy product demos for schools, institutions, and families, effectively communicating the value of MetaLingo’s tech in both official languages.
- Social Media Management: Manage our social media presence by planning and posting content that resonates with our community. You will collaborate closely with our Designers to create high-quality, on-brand visuals.
- Strategic Outreach: Proactively identify and initiate contact with potential partners and educational boards to expand our reach.
- Events & Brand Ambassadorship: Lead our presence at conferences and community events; you’ll manage the booth, spark conversations, and capture leads while representing our bilingual identity.
- Event Participation: Occasional evening or weekend availability and local travel within Canada or internationally may be required for conferences or community events.
- Feedback Loop: Bridge the gap between users and the product team, documenting feature requests to help improve the MetaLingo experience.
- Content Coordination: Support light copywriting, captioning, and scheduling of posts in collaboration with the design team and marketing guidelines.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate demo bookings, event logistics, and partner meetings, ensuring smooth communication across teams.
