Our focus is on automating the complete material and data flow of the laser cutting and bending process chain.In a nutshell : The Sales Development Engineer is responsible to identify and converting prospects to customers while selling new machines to existing customers in close interaction with the Account Manager.What you will be doing : Identify and cultivate new business opportunities : Scan potential sales leads and markets, analyze market strategies, and work towards increasing the company’s customer base. Build customer relationships : Initiate relationships with potential customers while aiming to understand their needs and propose solutions that meet these needs.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams : Collaborate closely with sales and marketing departments to develop and implement business strategies for increasing customer base and improving sales.Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.Achieve sales and growth targets : Be responsible for achieving set targets to drive business success.Key tasks and Responsibilities : Sales Leadership : Executes sales activities in the designated region, building strong relationships with key customers and developing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth. Executes marketing plans in collaboration with Comm. Excellence & Mktg. department and actively leads internal sales meetings and trainingsPeople Leadership : Leads the sales team in the designated region, setting objectives aligned with Americas strategies, supporting sales projects, and driving team performance. Conducts regular performance reviews, and fosters a positive work environment, emphasizing the Bystronic culture & valuesCoordination & Management : Provides a seamless customer experience, and leads the transformation of the region´s operating model by implementing necessary structures and technologies; Responsible for a smooth handoff between sales and operationsKPI’s : Net Promoter Score (NPS) : Measure of customer loyalty and satisfactionCommercial : Sales performance such as OE, ByCare, sales margin, sales funnel generated and new customers acquiredEmployee : Engagement Score & Employee satisfactionKey Skillset : Leadership Competencies : Leads by example trough emotional intelligence and integrity. Leads business through visionary & strategic thinking and business acumen. Leads people trough communication.
