Job Description

Patient care for active chronic care unit, including assessments and personal care.

Qualifications

  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • BCLS certification at time of hire
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Multi-patient medication administration.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • One year nursing experience in Long Term Care setting.
  • Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  • Good team player.
  • Computer skills / RUGS III data entry an asset.
  • Evidence of dedication to continuing education.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Keen desire to work with the elderly.
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

Additional Information

Hours :  Monday - Sunday, all Shifts, weekends and holidays; 0730-1930, 0730-1530, 1930-0730 (hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary :  $39.07 to $56.00 per hour
