Position Summary
Collaborate with all levels including Store Management, Market Management, and Subject Matter Experts. Responsible for educating associates and managers on compliance programs, monitoring compliance controls, identifying root causes, driving corrective actions, and continuous improvement to build trust with customers, associates, stakeholders, and regulatory entities.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver compliance and safety awareness using Ethics and Compliance resources.
- Drive compliance improvement by conducting assessments across designated subject matter areas such as Health & Safety / Fire Code, Environmental, Consumer Protection, Anti‑Money Laundering, Food Safety / Pest Control, Privacy & Employment, Licenses & Permits, and Anti‑Corruption.
- Provide on‑the‑spot compliance training at all levels within the facility, including the compliance portion of new associate orientation.
- Analyze data to identify program execution gaps and / or trends, determine root causes, and support the creation and execution of action plans that mitigate risk and enhance compliance execution.
- Participate in regulatory visits (excluding Health & Wellness and Human Resources matters) and submit the online reports, engaging the appropriate partners to resolve orders or fines.
- Execute and manage the hourly associate accident file process : online submission, accident investigations, modified offer letters, and follow‑up until resolution.
- Foster two‑way communication with Store Management to manage attendance, complete progress notes, and ensure accountability as required.
- Assist with the collection and verification of required items / documents for customer claim folders.
- Submit and follow‑up on Facilities Maintenance requests, including pest activity management.
- Leverage escalation tools to resolve issues and outstanding tickets.
- Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member.
- Follow up on action items identified through Safety Team meeting notes and inspections.
Compensation
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
