Position Overview

The Director of Sales and Growth is responsible for leading and defining our sales strategy in the healthcare technology space.

This role will be instrumental in developing and executing sales motions that drive revenue growth while addressing the unique needs of healthcare providers and other stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.

This role involves collaboratively setting a strategic vision for sales operations, leading business development efforts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring consistent revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of healthcare technology, extensive sales leadership experience, extensive experience in defining sales motions for different products across different market segments, and the ability to drive both customer acquisition and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies and motions tailored to different healthcare market segments.
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations, including C-suite executives, clinical leaders, and IT stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize sales processes that address complex buying cycles.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance on healthcare-specific selling approaches.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure alignment between product development and market needs.
  • Create and manage sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand market presence and capture new opportunities in the healthcare technology sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare technology or SaaS industry.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including key challenges, regulatory requirements, and technological trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple opportunities in a long sales cycle while looking for new opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with CRM systems and managing sales team performance through the CRM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems using experience, creativity, and sound judgment.
  • Nice to haves :
  • Demonstrated understanding of agile and waterfall implementation methodologies.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record software.

The salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $130,000 to $170,000 plus commission.

Our salary ranges are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Intrahealth.

For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the range. The top portion of the salary range is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Intrahealth.

Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
