Here is an exciting opportunity to join our Industrial Supply distribution client in Edmonton, Alberta as an Account Manager! In this role you will connect with prospective and current customers to counsel them on products, present sales proposals, build permanent relationships, and negotiate conditions.
This is a full time, permanent position based out of Edmonton, AB.
Key Job Duties :
- Cooperate consistently with existing customer base to maintain positive long-standing relationships including customer site visits
- Networking and drive new business, including following leads from inside sales representatives in a timely and professional matter
- Travel within designated sales territory to meet face-to-face with current and potential customers
- Utilize customer feedback to improve customer relations and to relay to management
- Utilize Excel of the purpose of project bidding.
Key Requirements :
- Experience in a similar position, familiarity within the mechanical distribution sector and Oil & Gas Industry is considered an asset
- Industry product knowledge is an asset
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record for a minimum of 12 months
- Willingness to travel as required
