Silhouette Enclosures is a dynamic organization full of opportunity and potential looking for Journey People Electrician to join the electrical team.
This position will plan, layout and install Conduit, Cable Tray and Cabling as well as install switchgear, MCC’s, PLC’s and VFD’s.
Silhouette Enclosures is pleased to offer a variety of shift options to allow employees to maintain personal and family life.
- Days : Monday-Thursday 6 : 30 am -4 : 30 pm / Tuesday-Friday 6 : 30-4 : 30
- Afternoons : Monday-Thursday 3 : 30pm-1 : 30 am
- Weekends : Fri-Sunday (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities :
The key responsibilities of a Journeyperson Industrial Electrician include, but are not limited to :
- Installation of AC Systems, DC Systems and Fire Alarm Systems.
- Plan, layout and install Conduit, Cable Tray, and Cabling (Teck Cable and DLO).
- Installation of Switchgear, MCC’s, PLC’s and VFD’s
- Testing and troubleshooting of all systems

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Journeyperson Industrial Electrician are :
- Experience with Hand Bender, Motor Control Equipment, and Industrial Electrical Systems
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Must have reliable transport and hold a BC driver’s license
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings
- Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code
- Team Player willing to do what it takes to get the job done. We are a fast-paced shop with lots of opportunities for overtime
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Occupational First Aid Level 1, an asset
