About the job : The successful candidate will join the Transmission Planning group as a transmission planning engineer. The core function of Transmission Planning is to develop BC Hydro near‑term and long‑term transmission system plans to meet BC Hydro's future business need of providing reliable, affordable and cost‑effective electric supply services to the customers in BC as well as ensure Mandatory Reliability Standard (MRS) compliance with NERC Transmission Planning Standards (TPL‑001‑4) and WECC Planning Criteria.

• Applicants who do not meet the full qualifications or those with lesser work experience may be considered for a lower‑level position.

Need to maintain continuous employment : EGBC : Engineers & GeoScientists BC = In Good Standing P.Eng. : Professional Engineer = In Good Standing.
