Summary :
Essentra is seeking a full-time, detail‑oriented Sales Support Specialist for our Burlington, Ontario location. This onsite role supports the sales team by handling administrative, operational, and customer‑facing tasks to improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction. Key duties include managing sales data, preparing documents, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate order processing. The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for both sales staff and clients, helping to streamline the sales cycle from start to finish. This position is 100% onsite , Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
Typical Accountabilities :
- Manage the sales team’s calendar, schedule meetings, and perform data entry for sales figures, customer information, and reports.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing questions and issues while ensuring a positive experience.
- Process sales orders accurately and prepare supporting documentation such as contracts and proposals.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, analyze sales data, and support the creation of sales reports.
- Monitor sales trends, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements to the sales process and customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, share relevant information with the sales team, and assist with market research and competitor analysis.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including import from Louisville, Erie, Houston etc.
- Perform related job duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
College degree in business, marketing, supply chain, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience , such as customer support, sales support, sales data analysis, or supply chain coordination.Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment—especially involving industrial products—is preferred.Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel ; prior experience with CRM software is strongly preferred.Effective teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.Excellent communication skills, demonstrating tact and professionalism with both internal and external customers.Ability and willingness to work onsite, Monday through Friday .Ability to analyze data and sales trends using reporting tools such as Power BI .Strong decision‑making skills and the ability to work independently when required.What We Offer :
