Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR strategies manage talent acquisition drive employee engagement ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws and foster a positive workplace culture. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting organizational goals and scaling HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Engagement :

Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Organize team engagement activities and social events.

Performance & Development :

Develop performance appraisal systems and manage training initiatives.

Identify and implement professional development programs to enhance skills.

Compliance & Policy Management :

Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR policies.

Develop and maintain employee handbooks and corporate policies.

Guide health and safety strategies to maintain workplace compliance.

HR Operations :

Oversee payroll benefits and HR data management.

Implement scalable HR tools and systems for operational efficiency.

Strategic HR Leadership :

Lead HR strategy implementation and promote continuous improvement.

Manage and mentor HR staff ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Recruitment & Onboarding :

Attract and hire diverse talent to meet organizational needs.

Design and execute seamless onboarding programs for new hires.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in the startup ecosystem focusing on program development and talent acquisition.

Strong expertise in HR operations compliance and employee engagement.

Proven ability to foster relationships and drive organizational growth.
