The opportunity

TC Energy’s Legal Operations team is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to provide critical financial analysis and insights that support legal decision-making across the organization.

What you'll do

• Lead (or assist in leading) the legal department budget and planning process, including communication with vendors and stakeholders
• Identify spending trends, variances, cost‑saving opportunities and process efficiencies
• Act as primary liaison to the CFO area, when required, ensuring alignment with enterprise‑wide financial processes
• Coordinate financial reporting for the legal department
• Develop and maintain financial forecasting models for Legal Operations
• Create financial dashboards for leadership
• Maintain financial resource hub for the legal department
• Develop and deliver financial training for team members under the General Counsel, as required
