Currently, we have an opening for a Production Assembler – Heavy Equipment . This role is well suited for entry-level mechanics or hands-on and mechanically inclined learners who want to build real experience in heavy equipment manufacturing. As a Production Assembler, you will support the assembly, installation, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components used in underground mining equipment.

What you will be doing

• Assembly / sub-assembly work of a machine : modules, electrics, hydraulics, cabin, etc.
• Ocular inspection of the quality and validity of the delivered materials for the work
• Module assembly puts together entities from sub-assembly and other items.
• Final assembly work starts by getting to know the details of the order : tailored production structure, basic machine structure, parts catalogue and options required.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble or repair parts and products.
• Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Work to standard operating procedures, bills of materials, manufacturing information, and instruction from management or engineering.
• Responsible for visual and functional inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation, and appearance.
• Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned by manager.
